Terms of Service
Last updated: November 6, 2026
1. The service
FileWift is a free, browser-based image conversion tool. All processing occurs locally on your device; no files are transmitted to or stored on our infrastructure. The service is provided in English and works in any modern browser.
2. Acceptance
By using FileWift you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
3. Your content and rights
You retain all rights to the files you convert. We receive no copies, licenses or claims to your content, because your content never leaves your device. You are responsible for converting only files you have the right to use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to process content you do not have legal rights to, and not to attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse the service or its hosting.
5. No warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that conversion will be uninterrupted or error-free, and image conversion is inherently lossy for some format pairs.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileWift and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including data loss, arising from your use of the service. Always keep backups of your original files.
7. Changes
We may modify the service or these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
